You will supervise a distributed team of over 35 communicators and guide professional development across units.

The role requires a deep understanding of higher education, strong writing/editing skills in MLA and AP styles, and the ability to present data visually for reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in communications or related fields.
• Experience in a university or complex organization preferred.
• Strong writing and editing skills with MLA and AP styles.
• Ability to generate data-driven visuals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for the Dean’s Office.
• Lead and mentor a team of communications staff across units.
• Coordinate announcements, presentations, and strategic content across platforms.
• Collaborate with the Office of the Provost, University Communications, and HR.
