Job summary

American Institute for Foreign Study Inc in Stamford, CT seeks a Strategic Communications Associate to audit content, organize the content library, and data-enter to support listings across our website and portals.

You will maintain content cohesion across platforms, assist with program proposals and information management, and report updates to the VP of Strategic Communications.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or progress toward Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Experience abroad or in higher education/international education preferred.

Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Contract: Temporary/Seasonal

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour

Hybrid: Stamford, CT; 1-2 days per week in office

Department: Strategic Communications

Expected Dates: September – December 31, 2026 (subject to change)

Reports to: VP, Strategic Communications

Primary responsibilities include:

• Auditing existing content in cloud-based document library.
• Coordinating and organizing content within content library.
• Entering data to support robust website and portal listings.
• Maintaining content, assuring cohesion across platforms.
• Supporting program proposals and information management.
• Aiding with review of website content.
• Communicating updates to line manager and team as required.
