Job summary

Precision Strategies is seeking an Associate to join our Strategic Communications team in New York, NY or Washington, D.C. to execute client communication strategies for corporate and advocacy clients.

The role focuses on managing client accounts, producing drafts for press releases and pitches, and coordinating across teams to deliver on client goals. A bachelor’s degree in communications plus 1+ year of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in a communications role in-house, agency, political campaign, government or consultancy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt voice across formats.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of client accounts, ensuring materials and timelines are accurate and accessible.
• Support execution of client projects and work streams, own deliverables from start to finish.
• Produce first drafts of communications materials including press releases, pitches, op-eds, and thought leadership content.
• Stay updated on media trends, platforms, and media landscape; assist media relations efforts.
