Job summary

Precision Strategies in Washington, DC seeks a Field Network and Strategic Communications Associate to support our national field consultant network, manage relationships, and assist with business development while contributing to strategic communications work in a hybrid role.

You will coordinate schedules, maintain materials and trackers, research local, state, and federal issues, and produce client-ready documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Political Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in field organizing, grassroots campaigns, political operations, communications, or related area. Internship experience considered.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail, especially when managing databases and trackers.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide network of consultants and subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, energetic, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Field Network by coordinating intel, materials, and reporting for client accounts.
• Provide day-to-day support for field activities and onboarding of contractors.
• Identify emerging issues at local, state, and federal levels and translate intel into usable documents for BD/marketing.
• Manage day-to-day client account needs, including agendas, notes, clips, timelines, and trackers.
• Collaborate across internal teams and present updates to peers and client leads.
• Assist in recruiting new consultants for the 50-state network.
