Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC is seeking a Commodity/Account Manager to lead sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage end-to-end procurement to optimize price, quality, timing, and supply reliability for aerospace programs. This remote role supports US operations with a focus on strategic suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in operations or supply chain, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and proven negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Background in government or aerospace industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement negotiation strategies for procuring goods, services, and supplies.
• Execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Establish and maintain sourcing objectives and service level agreements.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners.
• Perform detailed analysis of price proposals, financial reports, and other relevant data to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and price competitiveness.
• Conduct supplier research to uphold organizational standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
• Drive and support the strategic planning process for specific commodities or strategic suppliers.
• Lead the sourcing lifecycle, from RFQ to contract execution.
• Monitor supplier or commodity performance to meet delivery, quality, and cost expectations.
