Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Commodity Manager based in Saint Charles, MO. You will lead strategic sourcing activities, evaluate vendors, and manage supplier relationships to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The role involves cross‑functional teamwork, budget input, and driving cost reduction initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in supply chain or procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work with internal customers and COE Leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, related fields, or equivalent business experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to upper management.
• Cross‑functional teamwork to meet targets; MS Project is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal customers including COE Leaders.
• Evaluate and select vendors; manage supplier relationships.
• Contribute to strategic decisions affecting your area.
• Assist in budget development and cost control.
• Resolve escalated issues across departments.
