Insight Global is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead system-wide strategic sourcing initiatives across major non-labor commodity groups. You will drive RFI/RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and develop fact-based strategies to achieve cost savings and improved supplier performance.

The role requires collaboration with medical staff, clinicians, legal counsel, and executive leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, nursing, supply chain or closely related field.
• 3+ years in supply chain or related role involving financial analysis, contracting, clinical analysis, or combinations of these.
• Knowledge of commodities and materials management principles.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-wide strategic sourcing and category management initiatives for major non-labor commodity groups.
• Manage RFI and RFP processes from planning to supplier selection and implementation.
• Lead contract negotiations and review terms, warranties, and payment terms with Legal input.
• Develop negotiation strategies using product specs, market intelligence, and TCO/NPV calculations.
• Prepare sourcing recommendations and pricing rationales for Supply Chain leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align sourcing with company strategies and priorities.
• Ensure agreements are loaded into systems and drives implementation.
• Achieve savings and performance goals with Strategic Sourcing and Contracting leadership.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve service, quality, and delivery issues.
• Develop vendor management policies and tools to support performance.
