ADB SAFEGATE in Columbus, USA, is seeking a Strategic Commodity Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned products and categories. You will manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate complex agreements, and identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities while mitigating supply-chain risks.

Working with global teams, you will drive operational excellence and long-term value across the supply chain.

Qualifications

University degree in business, engineering, or comparable field.
10+ years in strategic procurement, global category management preferred.
Proven ability to develop and execute procurement strategies with cost savings.
Experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Independent, structured, results-oriented with initiative.
Willingness to travel 25–40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement innovative, competitive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate complex agreements.
Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities; mitigate supply-chain risks.
Coordinate with R&D, Operations, Business Line and Quality to meet internal requirements.
Provide regular performance reports and strategic initiatives to management.
Support product development and resourcing strategies locally and globally.
