Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to own commodity strategies for mechanical and cooling equipment, secure capacity, and lead times, building should-cost models and managing supplier relationships.

You will run RFI/RFP processes, negotiate Master and Long-Term Agreements, track performance with scorecards, and collaborate with engineering to control cost. ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/Ariba/Coupa exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Built and owned commodity strategies for mechanical or HVAC equipment backed by should-cost models.
• Negotiated complex, multi-year supply agreements and capacity reservations with mechanical OEMs.
• Used steel, copper, and refrigerant market data to structure escalation terms and price swings.
• Ran end-to-end RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes from supplier qualification to signature.
• Tracked supplier performance with scorecards covering quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
• Worked inside ERP procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa) to run sourcing events and spend analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year commodity strategies for mechanical and cooling equipment.
• Secure manufacturing capacity and lead times for long-lead mechanical equipment.
• Negotiate and execute Master Supply Agreements and pricing amendments.
• Run Quarterly Business Reviews and supplier scorecards; drive dual-sourcing and diversification.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering on specifications and design-for-cost decisions.
