Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace is seeking an experienced Commodity Manager to join our SSA Purchasing Team on site in Fife, WA. This role leads strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a reliable, cost-effective supply of aerospace materials.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in procurement/commodity management, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and a track record of cost savings and supplier optimization. On-site role with ITAR considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, purchasing, or related field.
• 5–8 years of procurement/strategic sourcing/commodity management in manufacturing, aerospace.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex supplier agreements and achieve cost savings.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, inventory planning, and supplier performance.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build supplier relationships.
