Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Commodity Manager for 3rd party manufacturing and buyouts in Peachtree Corners, GA (Hybrid). You will develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity, quality, and cost competitiveness across external manufacturing and buyouts portfolios.

The role leads supplier selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management while aligning procurement with growth, innovation, and resilience priorities. Global teams collaborate to optimize buying power.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or supply chain.
5+ years of procurement, supply chain, product management, or operations experience.
Strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiations, cost modeling, financial analysis, supply chain and manufacturing knowledge, ERP systems and data analytics.
15–20% travel to North American sites and suppliers, mainly in North America.
U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Negotiate Master Procurement Agreements including pricing, terms, and payment terms per North America guidelines.
Lead cross-functional regional commodity teams and monitor cost-savings projects.
Drive productivity using market intelligence, Siemens Spend Pooling, and commercial levers.
