Siemens in Peachtree Corners, GA (Hybrid) seeks a Sr. Commodity Manager for 3rd Party Manufacturing and Brand Label to develop sourcing strategies and ensure supply continuity, quality, and cost competitiveness across external manufacturing and brand-label portfolios.

You will lead supplier selection, negotiation, lifecycle management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize total cost of ownership and drive productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, product management or operations.
• Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Negotiations, Cost modeling and Financial Analysis, Supply Chain and Manufacturing knowledge, ERP systems and data analytics.
• 15-20% travel to North American operational sites and suppliers.
• Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

The Senior Commodity Manager for 3rd Party Manufacturing and Brand Label is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure supply continuity, quality performance and cost competitiveness across externally manufactured and brand label product portfolios. This role leads Supplier selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management for 3rd party manufacturing partners and brand label suppliers, aligning procurement objectives with business growth.

Responsibilities:

Commodity Strategy:

• Develop and execute Commodity and Suppliers Strategy Roadmap.
• Leading strategic negotiations and long-term agreements and optimizing total cost of ownership.
• Ensure Supply resiliency and supplier portfolio optimization by designing and executing dual sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.

Contribution to Net Income:

• Negotiate Master Procurement Agreements, including pricing, terms & conditions, payment terms in alignment with SI North America, Purchasing Council, and Location Procurement.
• Lead cross functional teams including regional commodity managers and have oversight of all CNI (PPC- Price Performance Controlling) and MCP - (Material Cost Productivity). Drive/Monitor project progress and cost savings implementation.
• Utilize Supply Market Intelligence, Siemens Spend Pooling, and all commercial levers and technical levers to drive productivity.

Suppliers & internal teams Relationship Management:

• Manage relationship with all assigned suppliers. Relationships include negotiating pricing, monitoring performance to agreed terms and conditions
• Collaborate with global commodity management and/or Product Management while optimizing company-wide buying power by reviewing the financial, quality, pricing, service, and availability level of suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain
• 8 plus years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, product management or operations.
• Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Negotiations, Cost modeling and Financial Analysis, Supply Chain and Manufacturing knowledge, ERP systems and data analytics.
• 15-20 % to North American Operational sites and Supplier’s Facilities in mainly North America.
• Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An engineering degree is not mandatory, but advantageous
• Having a Growth mindset, embrace challenges and show persistence in overcoming obstacles
• Strong problem-solving skills, extreme ownership, high level of self-motivation and personal efficiency.
• Ability to use Microsoft copilot AI tools for excel file analysis and editing, any repetitive tasks etc.
• Collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional meetings with various departments such as Product Development, Finance and Operations to align on objective, timelines and deliverables.

The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
