Job summary

Zeeco is seeking a Commodity Buyer to support project engineers and manage supplier relationships in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. You will review demand signals, issue RFQs, process purchase orders, and track components to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with customer restrictions.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a proactive ownership mindset, with experience in fabrication outsourcing and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication outsourcing and supplier management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong accuracy focus.
• Demonstrated ownership and follow-through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing demand signals and aligning with supplier capabilities.
• Issuing bid packages and requests for quotes to vendors.
• Entering RFQs and purchase orders into the ERP system.
• Processing purchase requisitions and tracking order status.
• Expediting deliveries to meet aggressive schedules.
• Coordinating tasks with Purchasing Manager and team.
• Supporting internal inquiries and project engineers as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with AML/AVL/Sourcing restrictions.
• Maintaining strong vendor relationships and on-time shipments.
• Participating in continuous improvement and supplier evaluation.
• Handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
