Job summary

Everwise Credit Union in South Bend, IN is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to develop and oversee a commercial loan portfolio for lower middle market businesses up to $20M in revenue. You will work with internal partners on credit approval, present other product offerings, and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities include sourcing new business, evaluating loan requests, preparing loan packages, and ensuring proper documentation and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years' experience in business banking or commercial lending in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit, risk policies, and treasury management.
• Proficient in financial analysis, underwriting support, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a commercial loan portfolio for businesses up to $20M in revenue.
• Lead business development to attract lower middle market clients and deposits.
• Screen applicants, gather information, and compile loan packages for decisioning.
• Collaborate with MicroLenders, Business Bankers, Treasury Management, and others.
• Perform financial analysis, support underwriting, and close loans with proper docs.
• Manage loan portfolio, ensure compliance, and maintain profitability.
• Build relationships with community partners and promote Everwise products.
• Engage in community service and promotional events to enhance reputation.
• Introduce additional financial services (Commercial, Cash Management, Mortgage, Retail).
• Take on additional duties to drive growth of Everwise.
