Job summary

Everwise Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to develop and oversee a commercial loan portfolio focused on mid-sized businesses with revenues up to $20 million. You will drive growth through new client acquisition, rigorous financial analysis, and collaboration with treasury and lending teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and risk management skills, with a track record in commercial lending and a commitment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in business, accounting, finance, or related field; equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years in business banking or commercial lending.
• Strong software skills in Microsoft Office and relevant financial software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio focusing on mid-market clients up to $20M in revenues.
• Lead business development to attract new profitable clients with loan sizes above $2M.
• Screen applicants and assemble comprehensive loan packages for decisioning.
• Perform financial analysis and support underwriting with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with MicroLenders, Business Bankers, Treasury Management and others.
• Ensure loan documentation, signatures, disbursement, and closing processes.
• Proactively manage portfolio, deposits, collections, and risk mitigation.
• Expand relationships through cross-selling Cash Management, Mortgage, and Retail services.
