Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a Specialist-Commercial Optimization to manage the value capture of services for intrastate pipelines. You will bridge nomination systems, operating conditions, and contract language while monitoring segmentation, imbalances, and pricing terms.

Essential duties include interpreting agreements, maintaining customer pricing lists, and supporting invoicing accuracy. Proficiency in Excel and pipeline tools is preferred, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2+ years in natural gas scheduling or related marketing/purchasing.
• Working knowledge of Texas Intrastate pipeline infrastructure.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to interpret contracts and oversee pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret transportation, purchase, and sales agreements.
• Maintain customer lists and distribute interruptible pricing.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets capturing service value.
• Track compliance with executed agreements and pricing language.
• Coordinate with operations, gas control, and measurement (SCADA/FlowCal).
• Support back-up detail for new proposals with Commercial team.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and storage position reflection.
