Job summary

Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. seeks a Commercial Recoveries Account Representative to collect on assigned accounts through pre-legal and judgment stages, in line with SOPs and client requirements. You will recover unpaid balances from businesses and guarantors, arrange settlements, and set up payment plans.

This role requires investigative skills and strong communication, with meticulous record-keeping. Office tools include Word, Excel, Outlook, WordPerfect, WestLaw, Accurint, copier, fax, and scanner,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prefer two years of customer service or collections experience.
• Bi-lingual a plus.
• Adhere to the Firm’s core values: Do right, achieve results, maintain integrity.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• 75+ WPM typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up repayment plans and document communications.
• Time management: manage own time and prioritize high-volume tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communications: write detailed letters and review reports for clients and consumers.
• Clerical: knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
• Manage files and records; prepare collection letters for attorney review.
• Customer service: assess client needs and satisfaction.
• Judgment and decision making: evaluate options for client recommendations.
• Complex problem solving: identify problems and implement solutions.
• Tools/Technology: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, WordPerfect, copier, fax, scanner.
• All other duties as assigned.
