Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support staff in purchasing supplies, books and equipment, ensuring compliance with state purchasing regulations, and serving as the liaison with the Division of Purchase and Contract.

The role requires three years of purchasing and inventory experience, and an Associate Degree in accounting, business administration or related field.

Qualifications

• Three years of purchasing, record keeping and inventory experience.

Responsabilités

• Ensure purchasing procedures are followed and competitive practices are maintained.
• Purchase supplies, books and equipment, assist faculty and staff in ordering materials, manage the E-procurement system and train users.
• Enter bids on IPS website and coordinate with Division of Purchase and Contract; assist with access to P&C website.
• Prepare reports and assist with general purchasing office duties and vendor communications.
