Job summary

Chemtrade in Richmond, CA is seeking a maintenance planner/scheduler to optimize plant reliability. You will use SAP as your hub to manage PM work orders, safety and environmental compliance, and schedule builds.

Responsibilities include material take-offs, procuring parts, coordinating lockout/tagout, and building Microsoft Project schedules for turnarounds, while partnering with site leadership. Work with on-site leadership, track costs, and ensure proper asset onboarding and scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a maintenance planner/scheduler capacity.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with CMMS platforms; SAP proficiency preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project 2010 and other relevant software tools.

Responsibilities

• Use CMMS (SAP) to monitor and report on PM, Safety, and Environmental WO compliance; Non-PM WO efficiency; PM accuracy; asset onboarding; PM creation; and schedule building.
• Perform accurate material take-offs based on field measurements and current Chemtrade piping specifications.
• Procure materials and kit jobs (clearly labeled, stored properly) to enable efficient execution.
• Place jobs into the scheduling pool and coordinate timing with production/operations.
• Coordinate lockout/tagout and permitting; align with shipping/rail/truck logistics when applicable.
• Track purchase orders and job-related costs.
• Develop Microsoft Project schedules for short shutdowns and full turnarounds in partnership with site leadership.
• Collaborate with supervisors to set priorities and confirm material and resource needs.
• Serve as backup to the Maintenance Supervisor as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
