Martis Camp Club is seeking a highly skilled Controller to support the CFO in accounting and financial operations. This on-site role in Truckee, CA, with some remote opportunities, focuses on asset management, capital projects, and accurate financial reporting.

The Controller will lead the accounting team and partner with department heads to drive financial discipline. Qualifications include a BS in Finance/Accounting or 5+ years in accounting with Controller experience, strong GAAP knowledge,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting, or 5+ years of professional accounting with 2+ years at Controller level.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Expert level Microsoft Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve accounting policies and internal controls.
• Assist CFO with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
• Oversee timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and capital projects reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit field work.
