Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) ProServe is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions and drive alignment with customer outcomes, while applying AWS frameworks and maintaining security and performance trade-offs.

The role emphasizes program leadership across diverse stakeholder groups, risk management, and ongoing certification goals while delivering measurable client value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud computing experience
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying relationships between business services
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
• Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
