Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Solutions Architect to translate business requirements into scalable digital architecture across energy technology solutions. You will lead technical designs, align with governance standards, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver value.

You will evaluate cloud compute, networking, security, container tooling, and data storage while guiding teams on best practices, IaC development, and AI-enabled solutions with LLMs and enterprise data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/STEM majors.
• 8+ years experience designing cloud infrastructure for enterprise products.
• Experience designing and deploying AI-enabled business solutions (LLMs, RAG, AI agents, data architecture, security, governance).
• Technical knowledge of Cloud Compute, Networking, Cybersecurity, Container Engines, Database, Storage, CICD.
• Programming languages: CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Java, PowerShell; IaC with AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/GitHub Actions.
• Strong communication with stakeholders; able to address technical and managerial challenges.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements to design technical solutions and digital products/services.
• Enforce policies and frameworks for development, deployment, and maintenance of technology.
• Present architecture ideas to stakeholders and explain why a product fits or does not fit.
• Oversee hiring and training to deliver strategic goals.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to align projects with business goals.
• Drive projects forward and mitigate technical risks.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement.
