Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a results-driven Major Group Sales Relationship Manager in North Carolina. You will retain existing business, negotiate renewals, and identify growth opportunities across ancillary products while building trusted advisor relationships with clients and brokers.

In this hybrid role, you’ll balance field and office work from our Durham area, with remote flexibility and support for professional development and industry insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• Must obtain NC Health and Life Insurance license within 60 days of employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing business and ensure groups remain profitable partners.
• Negotiate renewals and identify growth opportunities in ancillary products.
• Manage group data and contribute to knowledge base for future opportunities.
• Analyze client financial and utilization data and benchmark trends.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with producers using market data.
• Collaborate with Client Services to address group issues and support delivery.
• Coordinate renewals with Group Center of Excellence and Operations.
• Document best practices and share client experiences for improvements.
• Promote BCBSNC's community image and engage with business leaders.
