RFCUNY via LaGuardia Community College seeks a Business Advisor to guide small businesses through SRGP implementation and procurement readiness under the NYPA PowerUp2030 program. You will translate strategic plans into actionable steps and connect participants to relevant opportunities across New York.

This full-time, grant-funded role requires strong research, analytical, and advisory skills, with travel across New York State and occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; five years in business advising, consulting, or related field preferred.
• Experience assessing business capabilities and translating strategy into actionable plans.
• Strong research, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-touch, one-on-one advising to participants in PowerUp2030.
• Develop understanding of each participant's business model, capabilities, capacity, certifications, and growth objectives.
• Guide participants in developing and implementing SRGPs and translating lessons into procurement actions.
• Advise on business strategy, financial forecasting, and market readiness for opportunities.
• Track progress and maintain regular engagement to support goals.
• Support recruitment and statewide delivery, including travel to upstate locations.
