Qualifications

Leadership and supervisory experience in STD/LTD product and claims management.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Associate degree or equivalent professional work experience.
Proven ability to manage day-to-day execution and strategic projects.
Advanced computer skills with Windows and MS Office.
Analytical mindset with business acumen and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate communication among Customer Care, Administrative, and Clinical teams and external stakeholders for STD and FMLA absence programs.
Ensure legal compliance and confidentiality in handling employee and client information.
Review documentation to support claim approvals/denials and respond to audits as required.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for Alight's Leave of Absence programs and guide policies and processes.
Lead a virtual team, define roles, establish accountability, and build talent.
Monitor KPIs and drive performance to meet service guarantees and client expectations.
