The City of Conroe seeks a Finance Manager to lead the budgeting process, long-term financial projections, financial modeling, and investment management, providing strategic guidance to City leadership for responsible fiscal planning and resource allocation.

This senior role requires advanced knowledge of GAAP, PFIA, and municipal accounting, with strong Excel and ERP system skills to develop reports, optimize workflows, and support decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public or business administration, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible government finance, accounting, or budgeting experience.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Master's degree in accounting/finance/public administration preferred; CPA/CGFO preferred; Texas Class C driver's license preferred.
