Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field with eight years of progressive management experience in governmental finance.
• Experience supervising accounting, budgeting, reporting and treasury functions in a governmental setting.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and budget procedures.

Responsabilités

• Direct and supervise all activities of the Finance Department in accordance with laws and city policy.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, reporting, accounts payable, payroll and pension administration.
• Coordinate investment, revenue collection and debt management; prepare annual departmental budgets.
• Collaborate with City Manager, City Commission and Pension Review Committee on financial matters.
