Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to build and lead a modern, engineering‑driven information security organization. You will own Anduril's security posture end‑to‑end, spanning InfoSec, IT, and Compliance, and partner with the CIO and CSO to ensure rapid product delivery with strong protection of assets.

The role requires 15+ years of leadership in information security, deep technical security expertise, and a TS/SCI or equivalent clearance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in information security or related disciplines.
• Experience as a CISO or senior cybersecurity leader at a tech/defense company or equivalent government/intelligence role.
• Deep technical expertise across network, application, security operations, incident response, IAM, and cloud security.
• Proven ability to build, lead and mentor cross‑functional security and IT teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong understanding of gov't cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800‑171, CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA, DFARS).
• Active or eligible for an active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy protecting networks, systems, data, and IP against cyber threats.
• Lead a unified information security organization spanning InfoSec, IT, Infrastructure, and Cyber Compliance.
• Partner with the CIO and CSO to align security with engineering and business goals.
• Drive threat detection, investigation, and response at speed to ensure resilience across environments.
• Own cyber risk management with a dynamic framework and executive reporting.
• Ensure global cyber compliance with relevant frameworks and government obligations.
