Job summary

Optum is a global organization delivering care with technology to improve health outcomes. The CIO leads IT operations for the Market Performance Partnership, driving stability, standardization and scalable solutions across the organization.

The role reports to the SVP, Health Systems CIO and collaborates with Operations, Product, Finance, Marketing, and People teams to optimize efficiency, cost management, and provider/customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare operations experience within a healthcare delivery system interfacing with enterprise level executives.
• 6+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 6+ years of experience with success meeting budgets and timelines for a division or operation unit for a healthcare or technology business.
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role leading enterprise accounts or CIO-level responsibilities.
• Reside in Central time zones.
• Ability to be onsite 50% in Waukesha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality execution and operational excellence to support growth and optimization strategies specific to MPP deals.
• Drive constant innovation and continuous improvement to deliver capabilities that enable operational efficiencies.
• Accountable for financial management, remediation and cost mitigation across the function in a matrixed environment.
• Manage and develop leaders responsible for large, complex functions and clients.
• Meet MSA terms for MPP deals including service level design, governance and pricing.
