Job summary

Alcoa Massena Operations is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead operational excellence and drive the Alcoa Business System across the site. You will work cross-functionally to identify opportunities, improve processes, build capability, and deliver measurable results through Lean and structured problem-solving.

You will develop and mentor teams, facilitate A3 and other lean tools, and partner with leadership to boost safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6+ years leading process improvement or Lean initiatives.
• Experience implementing Lean principles and driving measurable improvements.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching and change management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-to-action translation.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing systems across multiple functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Facilitate improvement projects from concept to implementation with measurable value.
• Coach employees and leaders in CI tools, fostering accountability and problem-solving.
• Drive organizational change to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Track savings and improvements using established reporting systems.
