Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union in Atlanta, GA is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, asset/liability management, liquidity, and capital strategy, while ensuring the accuracy of financial information and proactively managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
• Master’s in Finance is strongly preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Minimum twenty years of progressive experience in a credit union or banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the organization's financial vision.
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, reporting, asset/liability management, liquidity and capital strategy.
• Chair the Asset/Liability Committee and lead budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Manage external relationships with auditors, regulators and financial institutions.
