Job summary

Wyman seeks a Chief Finance and Administration Officer to lead financial strategy, planning, and administration in the St. Louis region with flexible on-site and hybrid work options.

The role partners with the CEO, board, and senior teams to ensure sustainable operations and mission impact. This executive will strengthen financial systems, reporting, controls, and long-range planning, while guiding risk management, investments, and administrative functions to support program delivery and donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience in finance and leadership.
• Five or more years of experience leading teams in finance/administration.
• Experience in not-for-profit finance, grants, and contract accounting preferred.
• CPA, MBA, or related advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP for not-for-profit organizations and nonprofit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, including accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow planning, investments, and long-range modeling.
• Advise the CEO, Senior Management Team, Board of Trustees, and Finance Committee on financial position, risk, and capital priorities.
• Oversee monthly close, financial statements, audit prep, Form 990, and regulatory compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, grants/contract controls, insurance, and risk management.
