Hiscox USA seeks a Chief Accounting Officer to lead a finance team across accounting, reporting and treasury in a hybrid setup with offices in Atlanta, Boston or West Hartford. Reporting to the CFO, the CAO drives robust controls, delivers timely financial results, and partners with senior management on strategic financial decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA license, demonstrates strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record in a regulated insurance environment.

Qualificações

• CPA license required and in good standing.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
• Experience in general insurance or similarly regulated industry.

Responsabilidades

• Lead BAU Financial Accounting and enforce controls under IFRS for US operations.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee treasury, cash forecasting, liquidity, and FX risks.
• Drive accounting policy implementation and process improvements.
• Partner with CFO and senior leadership on capital, risk, and tax matters.
• Support Board meetings and interact with auditors and regulators.
