Job summary

Murray Resources represents a growing chemical manufacturer seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support five U.S. manufacturing sites.

The role focuses on raw materials and indirect categories, ensuring pricing accuracy, supplier performance, and participating in strategic sourcing initiatives. You will manage price changes, load data into ERP, develop landed-cost models, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and support RFPs, CapEx sourcing, and cost-reduction efforts.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing with chemical raw material experience.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to maintain accurate pricing and master data with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills across multi-site environments.
• Travel approximately 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate pricing across raw material and indirect categories in ERP systems.
• Validate price changes, surcharges, and freight terms against agreements.
• Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies with Accounts Payable.
• Create costing templates and landed-cost models for total cost accuracy.
• Enrich data across plant sites to uphold data integrity standards.
• Prepare recurring pricing reports and monitor price movements.
