The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations, budgeting, accounting, and reporting in support of housing and community development programs. The CFO will serve on the Executive Team, provide strategic financial direction, and ensure compliance with HUD requirements, GAAP, and Uniform Guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or public administration.
• CPA certification and advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10 years progressive experience in accounting/finance.
• Public administration and governmental accounting experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial administration, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Manage multiple funding sources including HUD, CDBG, HOME, ESG, HOPWA.
• Prepare ACFR and annual budget; ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with department directors and program managers.
