Job summary

Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) seeks a Finance Manager to lead a professional accounting team in Sacramento, CA. The role focuses on GAAP-compliant financial reporting, grants accounting, and fiscal stewardship of programs funded by federal, state, and local sources.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, supervisory experience, and knowledge of municipal/government accounting. CPA or MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Specialized training in municipal/governmental accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting staff and provide professional guidance.
• Assist in the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (ACFR).
• Research and analyze difficult and technical transactions.
• Maintain fiscal accountability for programs funded by grants and other methods.
• Supervise and manage accounting operations.
