Job summary

InforCapital, a South Florida private equity real estate-focused firm, seeks a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to build and manage financial control operations, including accounting, reporting, taxes, and financing for the funds and side vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, a minimum of 10 years’ finance experience with at least 5 in private equity fund leadership, and a proven ability to drive process improvements and client service while navigating the US regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a top-rated institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years in private equity fund roles such as CFO, Senior, Controller, VP of Accounting, or CAO.
• CPA is required and regulatory understanding of US investment advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of assigned funds, parallel funds and side vehicles and fund accounting processes.
• Prepare and process partnership accounting including capital calls, distributions, statements, waterfall calculations for LPs and GPs.
• Provide oversight of acquisitions funds flow models and exit funds flow models with transaction team.
• Establish adherence to policy, procedures and partnership governance including fees and allocations.
• Manage GP entities for assigned funds including schedules, allocations, distributions and tax capital accounts.
• Support fund raising activities and drafting/admin of escrow accounts and deal exits.
• Be the tax and audit point person for assigned funds and drive continuous improvement.
