Job summary

Brayman Construction seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team as part of a planned succession.

The incoming CFO will work directly with the current CFO during a transition period to gain firsthand knowledge of the organization's financial operations, leadership team, systems, and key relationships with external stakeholders such as accounting, banking, employee benefits, legal, and insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial management experience including senior finance/CFO-level roles.
• Experience across multiple legal entities; banking relationships and construction industry familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Accounting, Treasury, and financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Develop and monitor budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial plans.
• Oversee audits, tax compliance, and external reporting.
• Strategize mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships; advise CEO and senior leadership.
• Ensure internal controls, risk management, and scalable financial systems.
