Job summary

KBW has partnered with a growing company west of Boston to recruit a Chief Financial Officer who will serve on the executive leadership team, guiding strategic financial and operational leadership to support growth and profitability.

The CFO will oversee finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, compliance, reporting, and analytics, partnering with the CEO and senior leaders on strategic initiatives and business transformation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Chief Financial Officer in a mid to large company.
• Experience in a manufacturing or operationally complex environment preferred.
• Strong background in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and operational finance.
• Experience with ERP systems, business transformation, and process improvement.
• Strong strategic, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategy in partnership with the CEO and executive leadership.
• Lead accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, tax, audit, and financial reporting.
• Drive profitability and operational performance through financial analysis and business partnership.
• Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, capital planning, and risk management.
• Develop financial models, KPIs, and analytics to support informed decision-making.
• Partner with operations, sales, supply chain, and other functions to improve efficiency and margins.
• Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and financial accuracy.
• Support growth initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and organizational scalability.
• Lead finance-related technology, ERP, and business transformation initiatives.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Provide financial and strategic guidance to support customer relationships and business growth.
