Job summary

Community Financial Credit Union (CFCU) in Plymouth, MI, is seeking a strategic CFO to shape financial performance, safeguard long-term sustainability, and align strategy with our cooperative mission. This executive will oversee finance, accounting, ALM, budgeting, treasury, investments, and risk management.

Reporting to the president/CEO, the CFO will lead data-driven forecasting, pricing, and cross-functional collaboration to advance member outcomes and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership, ideally within a bank or credit union environment.
• Experience in ALM, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and executive-level collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree, CPA, CFA, or related certifications are a plus.
• Innovative and visionary mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial functions including accounting, ALM, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Lead risk, compliance, treasury, investments, and financial risk management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to align financial strategy with the cooperative mission.
• Drive data-driven forecasting and pricing to sustain long-term growth and member value.
