Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience in accounting and finance.
• Knowledgeable in government auditing standards.
• Ability to perform the job successfully.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial and accounting operations.
• Ensure financial reports are accurate and issued on a timely basis.
• Maintain GAAP compliance.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute accurate monthly income statements.
• Develop and maintain the annual operating budget.
• Review month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
• Oversee journal entries, accruals, and recurring transactions.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance related to all financial functions.
• Report to the Board of Commissioners and lead audit efforts.
