Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Finance leader to serve as CFO and partner with the CEO and private equity sponsor to translate the investment thesis into a credible plan. The role builds a scalable finance organization, delivering margin, cash flow, and rigorous reporting to drive enterprise value during the hold period.

The candidate will own budgeting, forecasting, and 13-week cash flow, while guiding pricing, spend, and channel profitability to support 2–3x growth and a successful exit.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required and active.
• 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 4+ years in a CFO role or senior finance leadership.
• Experience in a private equity-backed or sponsor-owned company.
• Consumer products, CP G or consumer-facing manufacturing/distribution experience.
• Proven track record of scaling a finance function with revenue growth; GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Translate 3–5 year value creation plan into financial targets and KPIs.
• Lead long-range planning, scenario modeling, and capital allocation decisions.
• Evaluate add-on acquisitions and channel/product expansion.
• Prepare for exit with sell-side readiness and data room prep.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly board reporting and lender relations.
