Job summary

DISH, a San Francisco nonprofit delivering permanent supportive housing, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance, strategy, and risk management. You will partner with the CEO, executive team, and Board to shape long-term financial stability, oversee budgeting and reporting, and ensure compliance in a complex public funding environment.

Qualifications

• Significant senior financial leadership experience with accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit, cash management, and internal controls
• Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting foundation
• Ability to forecast, scenario plan, and provide strategic financial analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop a multi-year financial sustainability plan with visibility into funding, cash needs, and program economics
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, accounting, reporting, cash management, audits, and risk management
• Provide financial leadership and advisory support to CEO, executive team, and Board
• Strengthen forecasting dashboards and financial analysis for timely decision making
• Build financial literacy and shared accountability across leadership and programs
