AppleOne Employment Services is recruiting a seasoned Chief Financial Officer for a mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization in Fremont, CA. You will lead all financial operations, from accounting and budgeting to grants management and board reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Reporting to the CEO, you will mentor a finance team of about 15, partner with the Board and executive leadership, and shape the organization's long-term financial strategy to enable

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or 10 years of directly related experience.
• Minimum 5 years as CFO or senior financial leader in nonprofit/healthcare.
• Experience with government contracts and multi-source funding.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP for nonprofit and healthcare environments.
• Experience managing a finance department and collaborating with boards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, grants, contracts, and financial reporting.
• Develop strategic financial plans, forecasts, and management reporting for decision-making.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting for nonprofit healthcare.
• Manage grants, contracts, and government funding with transparency and accountability.
• Coach a finance team of ~15 and foster cross-functional collaboration with leadership and Board.
