Job summary

Sabre Systems is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations within a government contracting environment. The role reports to the CEO and partners with the Executive Leadership Team to drive financial strategy, operations, and compliance including FAR, DCAA, and CAS.

The CFO will oversee accounting, treasury, and reporting, manage cash flow and funding, and lead risk management while building a scalable finance organization. This position requires DoD experience, a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years as CFO and 10 years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5 years in government contracting or DoD-related industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in FAR, DCAA, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Strong understanding of government contracting processes including pricing, cost accounting, and compliance.
• Experience managing accounting, FP&A, cash, and banking relationships; M&A due diligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support long-term growth and profitability.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive leadership team.
• Prepare financial operations for growth with scalable processes and systems.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DCAA, and other federal regulations.
