Job summary

Kimmel & Associates seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer for a Mobile, AL-based commercial general contractor to lead financial strategy and enable sustained growth across the southeast.

The CFO will oversee accounting, budgeting, WIP, and cash management, and will partner with the executive team to improve profitability and operational excellence. 10+ years in construction finance with a CPA preferred and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership in commercial construction.
• Construction finance leadership roles (CFO/VP of Finance/Controller) within a GC.
• Experience with WIP reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, finance, and financial reporting functions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-range planning.
• Manage WIP reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
