Job summary

Triangle Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer in Raleigh, NC. You will oversee the hospital's financial administration, including revenue cycle, accounting, information systems, and reporting, with a focus on internal controls and timely budgets and analytics.

The role requires healthcare finance experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of GAAP; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience in healthcare financial operations/controls.
• Knowledge of inpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital finance preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of the business office staff (billing, collections, financial counseling, utilization review and data processing).
• Maintain revenue cycle processes to keep patient accounts receivable at an acceptable level and improve cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and local, state and federal guidelines.
• Post daily accounting activity and produce monthly financial statements and productivity reports.
• Monitor EBITDAR targets, analyze variances, and develop action plans with the CEO.
• Maintain AR levels appropriate for market and payer mix.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and ensure internal controls support clean audits.
• Supervise Accounting, Patient Financial Services, Purchasing, Payroll and related departments.
