Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for our CAAS practice in Washington (Tri-Cities, Yakima, Wenatchee or Moses Lake) offices. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of Assistant Controller/Controller experience and agribusiness knowledge to lead client engagements and financial strategy.

You will set financial policy, oversee budgeting and cash flow, coordinate audits, and build strong client relationships while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related work experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller, preferably in agribusiness.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFO functions as part of the client’s accounting services team.
• Set financial policy and actively participate in overall strategy.
• Drive capital planning, risk management, KPI analysis, and board interactions.
• Lead financial administration, budgeting, and longer‑term planning.
• Oversee budget progress, cost management and cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate audit activities and manage multiple client engagements.
