Job summary

Holman is seeking a senior leader to direct Centralized Accounting, overseeing process design, policy execution, and close readiness across the towers. You will coach supervisors, drive accountability, and build a sustainable leadership ladder to support talent progression.

You will partner with Directors, finance, and field leadership to align priorities, improve controls, and implement automation opportunities, while ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and ongoing operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5–7+ years progressive accounting or dealership accounting operations experience.
• 3+ years leadership experience, including supervision of teams.
• Experience with dealership accounting systems and automation tools preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned Centralized Accounting operating tower, including process design and service levels.
• Lead through a formal supervisory structure, coaching supervisors and leads.
• Develop and maintain a leadership career ladder within the tower and support progression.
• Ensure accurate accounting transactions aligned with policies and controls.
• Own the operating rhythm: service levels, throughput, close readiness, escalations.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting accounting accuracy and efficiency.
• Strengthen the control environment with proper segregation of duties and documented procedures.
• Partner with leadership to align priorities and transformation efforts.
• Collaborate with business partners to support broader business needs.
• Lead continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Support dashboards, SOP consolidation, and system enhancements.
• Evaluate workload and staffing needs; manage backlog and capacity.
