Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Category Supplier Manager (Buyer) in Manassas, VA to lead site supplier performance and drive cost savings across designated accounts. You will negotiate with suppliers and support capital budgeting while collaborating with senior leaders to implement procurement strategies.

The role requires 3+ years in strategic sourcing with strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills, plus a Bachelor's degree. PMP preferred. Relocation TBD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing, quantity surveying and estimating.
• Manage multiple large-scale projects (sourcing events) concurrently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to deliver executive-level presentations.
• Comfort around Senior Leaders and Executives with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in similar procurement roles strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships.
• Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs.
• Support capital budgeting and cash flow management and global procurement strategies.
• Handle cost saving initiatives and metrics.
• Implement cost savings and process improvement programs.
• Serve as a procurement consultant for process and supplier issues.
• Support site audits.
